Suzanne Kasler's Gracious Atlanta Home
Suzanne Kasler has a disciplined eye for global style. She is well versed at designing a balanced space using neutral color palettes, bold surprises, and antiques. You can see this in her own Atlanta home and her appreciation for a casual European style. She's elegantly dressed each room with furnishings styled from the old and accentuated them with transitional or mid-century pieces. Not ignoring the interior architectural detailing she needed the home to bring to her aesthetic but simply highlighting it. Her home showcases collectibles and places she's traveled. Suzanne Kasler is definitely a favorite designer of mine! This elegant Regency-style home is a place I would want to vacation or even LIVE, lol! Her distinct attention to detail and accessorizing in this home is flawless and truly admirable. Suzanne's home is transparent and reflects her family life, love of design, and balance. Take a look at these photos and more of Atlanta's A-list Designer, Suzanne Kasler's home and her livable design aesthetic featured on One Kings Lane.
Accessorizing your space is just as important as the functional pieces specified for the room. You can easily add contrast by using artwork, a stack or collection of books, floral arrangements, sculptural objects, or even gifts you've received that are worth displaying to add a degree of sentiment on your coffee table, bookshelf or fireplace. As a Designer, I live by three design principles and use them in all my design efforts to achieve a well balanced space; one part old, one part new or custom, and one part nature (plant life, natural stones or materials, natural light). But most importantly have fun with it and let it reflect your own style!
