1. Flowers can be the brightest color in the room

Pick a color and accessorize. Using flowers is nature’s stamp on a warm welcome every time you come home. From fragrant to architectural, a floral arrangement can compliment any design style and  make the perfect centerpiece.

2. Add Layers

Pile coffee tables with books and objects. Accessorize using fashion and travel hardbacks adjacent to sculptural objects, or candy dishes. Speaking of sweet eats, add an apothecary jar and fill it with cookies or candies so there's always a snack on hand.

3. Organization is also key

Trays and trinket boxes are a great solution when needing to clear the coffee table quickly for entertaining. Have too many remotes? Use trays and decorative boxes to keep things tidy and concealed. Add coasters you received as a gift or purchased from a gift shop while on vacation.  It's the ideal spot to add something that sparks a story. Plus, they are very important to prevent surprise stains or watermarks on your table.
